Leaving Limbo Landing
Welcome to my blog – I am Caroline Bowditch and I am creating the most ambitious artistic project of my career. Here is your chance to dive into my think tank of ideas and get involved.
I have received an Unlimited commission to create this production with East London Dance. Leaving Limbo Landing is a project about journey, placement, displacement, settling, arrivals and departures. The first phase is a photographic exhibition and sound installation telling the stories of 12 people from East London. The second stage is a multi artform outdoor touring performance piece.
For more information about the project get in touch with www.eastlondondance.org or follow my journey on this blog which will chart the creative process of conceiving, creating and performing my most ambitious project to date - who knows where we might end up!

And we’re back….03. July 2012
After a 6 week break, Leaving, Limbo, Landing re-emerged today. We cleared away the moth balls, rebuilt the set (which is now fully dressed), reminded ourselves who we were and stretched our brains remembering this beautiful thing that we put together, after some really important and influential feedback, sometime ago. We now have 4 days to polish, refine and hone this piece that will make its first public appearance on Saturday in London Fields. There is definitely work to be done so let us begin!
